A few days back, Indian retailer Flipkart had announced that the Galaxy S23 would be heavily discounted at midnight on May 2 as part of its Big Saving Days sale. The discount is now in effect.
The base variant, which comes with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, can be purchased for INR 46,999. The variant with 256GB of storage is priced at INR 51,999. The effective price can be further reduced by taking advantage of offers available on credit cards from some banks.
The discounted prices are slightly higher than promised as Flipkart appears to have skipped an INR 2,000 flat cashback offer it had mentioned in the original announcement. However, that doesn't stop this from being a fantastic deal that Indian consumers shouldn't miss out on, especially if they prefer a Samsung flagship with a Snapdragon chipset.
Galaxy S23 review
A year after launch, the Galaxy S23 is still an amazing compact flagship phone. The Galaxy S24's hardware is better in some aspects, as is to be expected from a newer phone, but the Galaxy S23 holds up very well. It has also received almost all of the software features–including Galaxy AI features–that debuted on the Galaxy S24 series thanks to the One UI 6.1 update.
