The album sold an impressive 22,60,906 copies on its release day, marking the highest first-day sales for any K-pop artist's album. This success was not limited to South Korea as the album also received an overwhelming global response.

The album 17 Is Right Here quickly climbed to the top of iTunes's Top Album chart in 17 regions/countries and secured the second position on the Worldwide Album Chart. It also topped Line Music's real-time album chart, Japan's largest music platform. The lead single Maestro from the album gained worldwide popularity, topping iTunes's Worldwide Song chart and securing the number one position on the Top Song chart in 32 countries/regions, including Spain, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
