UK rental company Orion Access has taken delivery of a 20 metre 20D Socage Speed truck mounted lift, the first of several Socage platforms the company has on order.
The Forste 20D Speed features a three section telescopic boom with an end mounted platform for a 19.6 metre working height. Maximum outreach is nine metres with 230kg in the basket. Features include automatic outrigger setting, levelling and monitoring, automatic engine speed adjustment and a full telematics suite. The handover Simon Hunter of Orion said: “This platform is the first of several new Socage platforms that we have purchased for delivery over the next few months, giving our operators and self-drive clients a new dimension to their operations.” The deal was made through UK distributor Independent Access Sales.
