Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri have wrapped up shooting for their highly-anticipated upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video (VVKWWV). The movie, helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, blends comedy and drama and aims to transport audiences back to the vibrant 1990s. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Rao and Dimri jointly shared a delightful video, giving fans a sneak peek into their fun-filled experience on set.

In the clip, the lead actors joyfully recreate iconic Bollywood dance moves from romantic films of the 1990s, adding their own playful twist. The video offers a glimpse into the fun and nostalgia awaiting audiences in the film. The caption of the video read: "Jab tak Vicky Vidya ka woh wala video Na aaye tab tak Vicky Vidya ka ye wala video dekho. Lights out, wrap party on! Film is slated to hit theaters in October
Earlier, Rao took to Instagram to announce the release date of the film, which is set to hit theaters on October 11. His post read: "Buckle up for a retro nostalgia trip! Excited to take you on a joy ride in #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo coming on October 11, 2024." Meanwhile, Rao is currently gearing up for his next, Srikanth—a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually impaired industrialist. It is set for a May 10 release.
Directorial and scriptwriting credits for 'VVKWWV'
The directorial reins are held by Shaandilyaa, known for his successful films like Dream Girl and Dream Girl 2. In addition to directing, Shaandilyaa has also written the script. His writing portfolio includes scripts penned for renowned comedians Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lahiri, and Kapil Sharma. The film is a joint venture by industry stalwarts including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa Kapoor, Vipul Shah, Ashwin Varde, and Rajesh Bahl.
