Match Summary so far:

India won the toss and opted to bat first.

Smriti Mandhana fell early, Yastika Bhatia and Shafali Verma stitched a 43-run stand to steady the innings. Yastika also stitched a key partnership with Harmanpreet Kaur (45 off 33 balls) to set India on course for a 150+ score. Quick fall of wickets and some good bowling from Bangladesh restricted India to 145/7 in 20 overs.

Rabeya Khan picked three wickets while Marufa Akter took two.

Bangladesh dropped a few key catches but improved on their catching as the match went on. Ground fielding was good and they kept things tight as much as possible.
