    Upcoming series

Prabhu is also preparing for the release of 'Citadel'

In addition to Bangaram, the actor is also gearing up for the release of another project, the highly-anticipated Citadel: Honey Bunny. This series, directed by Raj and DK, features Varun Dhawan as her co-star. It's a spy thriller adapted from Priyanka Chopra Jonas's Citadel and is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video, later this year. The narrative is expected to fuse elements of a hard-hitting spy thriller with a touching love story—all set against the setting of the 1990s.

    More about the series 'Citadel'

Dhawan and Prabhu aside, Honey Bunny features Kay Kay Menon, Kollywood actor Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar. Despite early conjectures that the series might be a remake of its American counterpart starring Jonas and Richard Madden, Prabhu earlier clarified on Instagram that "it's actually a spin-off with distinct versions planned in Spanish, Italian, and Mexican."

    Health struggles

Prabhu is a strong advocate of mental and physical health

Aside from her remarkable talents as an actor, Prabhu is also a vocal advocate for mental health. Since revealing her struggle with the auto-immune disease Myositis, she has passionately emphasized the importance of both physical and mental well-being. Recently, during her podcast, she candidly discussed the challenges, sharing "I have a fan base that is probably more interested in entertainment, fashion, and make-up. So, making that transition into health and advocating mental health is not really an easy one."
