Sr Cloisall Cardozo and Sr Jovita De Souza of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, popularly known as Sancoale Sisters, professed their final vows at the hands of Sr Berna Rodrigues SFN, Mother General of the Congregation during the Eucharistic celebration held at St Joseph Vaz Sanctuary, Sancoale.

Archbishop Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao presided over the mass concelebrated by Fr Kenneth Teles, parish priest of Sancoale church and rector in charge of St Joseph Vaz Sanctuary, Fr Lauzario Godinho, parish priest of Quelosim church and 18 other priests.

Delivering his homily on the theme ‘Witnessing Jesus through Charity’, Cardinal Ferrao appealed to the faithful to witness Jesus in the society.  “We are not mere chance disciples of Jesus, rather, He chose us out of love,” the Cardinal said. “Our vocation as close followers of God is not a measure of our worthiness, but rather a testament to His love for us,” he added.
