Jamie Carragher says Mohamed Salah has ‘gone off the boil’ and has raised major doubts over his Liverpool future.

Salah was unable to help the Reds claw back a two-goal deficit during Wednesday’s Merseyside derby defeat at Everton - their first at Goodison Park since 2010.

The loss put a huge dent in Liverpool’s title challenge which could see them slip to third in the table if Manchester City beat Brighton on Thursday night.

Salah has so often proved to be Liverpool's saviour but the Egyptian has failed to score in his last three league games.

Liverpool have lost two of those fixtures, having missed a hatful of gilt-edged chances against both Crystal Palace and the Toffees.

Salah was subject of an offer from Saudi Arabia last summer and, despite Liverpool holding onto their talisman, Jurgen Klopp’s impending exit could also see the Egyptian star seek pastures new.
