Mark Clattenburg has been told by Gary Neville to RESIGN from his role as a referee analyst in light of their astonishing statement on Sunday.

The Football Association has announced it's investigating a statement published on X by the club hitting out at the officiating during their defeat at Everton as it calls into question the integrity of an official.

In the statement, Forest accused the PGMOL of deploying a Luton Town fan in the VAR for their relegation six-pointer at Goodison Park on Sunday, which finished 2-0 to the Toffees.

It read: "Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept.

"We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times. NFFC will now consider its options."

Forest had a case to feel aggrieved just before half-time when they were denied a penalty despite the ball striking the outstretched arm of Ashley Young in the Everton box.
