Bangladesh and Thailand are expected to sign several agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) when Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially visits Bangkok from April 24 to 29, the former’s foreign ministry recently said.The agreements and MoUs may cover trade, investment and cooperation in energy and tourism, according to Bangladesh media reports.

Hasina will hold bilateral talks with her Thai counterpart Srettha Thavisin, meet the Thai king and queen, and attend the 80th session of the Commission for the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).
A number of ministers, advisers, secretaries and senior government officials will accompany her in the trip.
