    What's the story

The Indian auto industry is set to witness an exciting period, with four new vehicle launches scheduled within the next five weeks. These much-awaited debuts include models from popular brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Jeep, Mahindra, and Force Motors. The first in line is the Mahindra XUV 3XO SUV, a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the XUV300.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: A significant evolution

The Mahindra XUV 3XO features a revamped front and rear fascia, along with a thoroughly modernized interior and feature list. Despite these enhancements, it will continue to run on the same three engines as before. There's also speculation about a potential transition from an automated manual transmission (AMT) to a torque converter unit.

Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift set to hit Indian roads

Following closely is the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift, which has already made a splash in Japan, and is now ready to grace Indian roads. The revamped Swift boasts an interior influenced by the Fronx, and subtle exterior design tweaks. It's set to house a new 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine, replacing the previous 1.2-liter, four-cylinder unit. The transmission options are predicted to remain consistent with a 5-speed manual and AMT.

Jeep India to unveil refreshed Jeep Wrangler

Jeep is also gearing up to unveil a refreshed version of its iconic Jeep Wrangler. The updated model will feature a blacked-out grille, robust 17-inch wheels with off-road tires, multiple roof options, and an impressive new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment panel, among other upgrades. However, the powertrain options for the Indian version are expected to remain unchanged, maintaining the vehicle's classic performance characteristics.

Force Motors gears up for Gurkha model debut

Force Motors is preparing for the debut of its 5-door Gurkha model along with an updated 3-door variant. The revamped Gurkha will feature an all-digital instrument cluster, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), wireless smartphone connectivity, and a seven-seat layout for the 5-door version. The powertrain is tipped to remain the same 2.6-liter Mercedes-Benz-sourced diesel engine, albeit with a slight increase in power and torque.
