    The much-anticipated song, Papa Kehte Hain 2.0, from the upcoming film Srikanth, is set to be released on Monday, April 22, 2024. This modern rendition of the classic tune from Aamir Khan's film, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, will be introduced by Khan himself. The film's recently released trailer, starring Rajkummar Rao and Alaya F, has already generated significant online buzz.

    Special launch event to have performance by visually impaired musicians

    A source told Pinkvilla, "Bhushan Kumar had informed Aamir about the idea of recreating Papa Kehte Hai and he was happy that the song is being recreated to celebrate the journey of a person like Srikanth Bolla. He is excited to attend the launch." The launch event in Mumbai will reportedly feature a live performance by visually impaired musicians. Notably, Khan, Rao, Alaya, director Tushar Hiranandani, Bolla, and producers Kumar and Nidhi Parmar will grace the occasion.

    'Srikanth' set for summer release, banking on positive reception

    The biographical film Srikanth, which narrates the life story of Bolla, is scheduled to hit theaters on May 10. Its premiere aligns with the auspicious Akshaya Tritiya. Apart from Rao and Alaya, it'll also feature Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar. The film is among a few being released during summer vacation and its creators are optimistic about its success, relying heavily on positive word-of-mouth.
