A Kerry couple say they are being denied an opportunity to create their dream home after Kerry County Council refused planning permission to construct an entry point because it would be a traffic hazard.

The house at Shronebeirne, near Listowel, belongs to Frances Murphy where she and partner Mike Casey hope to live. The house has been in her family for decades and was previously accessed through an adjoining farm which has since been separated and closed off.
