Jude Bellingham brilliantly trolled Micah Richards over a bet the pair had placed ahead of Real Madrid’s clash with Manchester City.

Richard’s watched on as Bellingham inspired the La Liga giants to a dramatic Champions League quarter-final penalty shootout victory over City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

Bellingham was among the players to dispatch a penalty for his side who triumphed after a tense 4-4 aggregate scoreline.

After the game, the England midfielder took the opportunity to remind the ex-Man City defender and CBS Soccer pundit of the agreement the pair had in place.

Back in January, Richards challenged Bellingham to a game of EAFC 24 with a forfeit for the loser.

Bellingham would have to perform an 'M' celebration for his next goal, while Richards agreed to wear a full Madrid kit on the CBS broadcast.

Despite going behind, Bellingham emerged victorious with a 4-2 win, but Richards has not delivered on his forfeit.

“He's still meant to be wearing the Madrid shirt after the little wager we had, so I'm disappointed not to see that,' Bellingham told CBS Soccer. “Hopefully, we'll see it for the semifinal.”

Richards watched silently through the interview but his body language appeared to show that either he had no recollection of the bet or that he had forgotten all about it.

It was a night to forget for Richards who not only watched his former club dumped out of the competition but also saw his quarter-final predictions fall wide of the mark.
