Siemens shares gain 1.67% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Siemens Ltd. traded at Rs 5625.25 on BSE at 01:03PM (IST) on Thursday, up 1.67 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 3240.0 and a high of Rs 5772.6.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 98.35 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 56.26 per share and 9.99 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 4,024 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:03PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 197025.31 crore and is part of the Capital Goods - Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 69.49 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 22.61 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 5626.05 and Rs 5500.0.

Promoters held 75.0 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in Siemens Ltd. stood at 7.89 per cent and 3.3 per cent, respectively.
