Rothes Glen to hold the Ultimate Whisky Experience
Rothes Glen Castle and
Whisky Magazine are set to run the Ultimate Whisky Experience weekends, in celebration of
Whisky Magazine’s 25th anniversary.
Running twice in June and November 2024, the Speyside weekends promise “unforgettable moments with fellow whisky enthusiasts”. Spaces are limited to just 28 guests per weekend.
Rothes Glen is a Highland castle near the town of Rothes, built in 1893 by whisky architect Charles Chree Doig and renovated by current owners Damian and Pippa Riley-Smith. The castle boast 11-acre grounds, drawing room, library, and snooker room. A key feature is the tasting room, in which guests can taste wines and spirits, and a well-stocked whisky vault.
During the experience weekends, guests will receive a unique dining experience by the castle’s chef; breakfast, two-course lunch, afternoon tea, and three-course dinner are all included.
Over the Ultimate Whisky Experience, the Rothes Glen team will provide trips, distillery visits, photography, evening entertainment, and tastings, among other activities.
