‘Double-engine sarkar has been resolving every issue of Goans’

Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday said the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) ‘sankalp patra’ (election manifesto) for the Lok Sabha elections is not based on any caste or religion like other parties,  but on  four key aspects- welfare of youth, women, farmers and poor.

He said under the “Modi ki Guarantee” these promises will be implemented 100 per cent in the next five years.

“Our sankalp patra is focused on nari shakti, yuva shakti, kisan kalyan and garib kalyan. It also assures implementation of One Nation, One Election across India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said. The “double-engine sarkar”, he said, has been resolving every issue of

the people of Goa and bringing all-around development through “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Antyodaya.”

Reiterating that both the candidates of the BJP will win by a huge margin, Sawant said, “We are not in politics for selfish gains; we are also ready to resign if anyone can prove that we are playing politics.”

When asked that why there was no mention about the black money issue, Sawant said that the central government led by Narendra Modi has been giving Rs 5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat medical scheme and for past 10 years every citizen has got Rs 50 lakh.

When asked that black money issue is no more in the country, he said as and when complaint recieved government takes action.

Sawant was addressing a press conference along with the state president Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Union Minister of State and North Goa candidate Shripad Naik, South Goa candidate Pallavi Dempo and Water Resources Minister Subhash Shirodkar. They released the national manifesto of the party on Thursday. Naik said the BJP has implemented its earlier manifesto 90 per cent and this Lok Sabha manifesto will be implemented 100 per cent.
