Harry Kane has always taken his career extremely seriously - to the point he was desperate to replicate Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Just like the two footballing icons, who are largely known as the two best players of all time, every minute detail must be looked over to maximise their potential.

That includes their diet and nutrition on a daily basis, never missing a meal and never missing the right type of meal either.

Kane realised this early into his career at the age of 24, just as he prepared to take over from Wayne Rooney as permanent England captain.

Prior to his dietary changes, one criticism that could be levelled at the then-youngster was his physicality and Tottenham even loaned him out to Leyton Orient and Millwall to toughen him up.

While he performed well there, his first Premier League loan to Norwich ended after just three appearances due to injury and he was back to square one, also failing to impress on loan at Leicester after being recalled and being sent out again in 2012/13.
