Vail Christian is the No. 1-ranked 3A girls tennis squad in Colorado after coming home with a third-place finish against 5A competition at the Holy Family tournament in Broomfield last Friday. The Saints also won six of seven matches against Dawson School on Saturday.
“We are so proud of the girls,” said J.D. Webster, head coach. “They have worked so hard to get to this place. We still have a lot of work to do going forward into the post season but feel very blessed for sure.”

Assistant coach Julie Sveum said the team fought through high heat on the first day and a windstorm the next day during their weekend of Front Range competition.
“It’s wonderful to watch them fight for success and put the puzzle pieces together on the tennis court,” she said.
