Kids First childcare financial aid deadline May 1

The deadline for Kids First financial aid applications is May 1, with assistance starting the following month.
Kids First and the city of Aspen provide a financial aid program in an effort to assist with covering the expense of childcare for working families.
Kids First understands how expensive childcare is for working families — sometimes costing as much as housing — and is pleased to help young children and families in this way.
To be eligible, you must either live or work within the valley. All families must apply or reapply by May 1, including new families in addition to families already receiving aid.
Applications are available at Kids First or at cityofaspen.com/316/Financial-Aid. For more information, contact Kids First at 970-920-5363, 215 N. Garmisch, Suite 1, in Aspen, or email Kristy Grau at Kristy.Grau@aspen.gov.
