Xavi’s side now just have to avoid defeat to reach the semi-finals of the competition and set up a clash against either Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund

Barca haven’t lost a game since January in all competitions and will be aiming to continue that form against PSG who haven’t played since the first leg.

Barcelona vs PSG: History beckons

Barcelona can make history this week should they progress.

If they reach the semi-finals, it would be their 13th time doing so and they would move above Bayern Munich in the record books.

They would become the team with the second-most final-four appearances in the competition, only sitting behind rivals Real Madrid who have 16.

However, if they lose, PSG and manager Luis Enrique will join the record books instead.

Enrique has the chance to become the first ex-Barca boss to eliminate their former club from a Champions League knockout tie.

In fact, only two Spanish managers have ever managed to knock the giants out before, with Rafa Benitez and Vicente del Bosque doing so in 2007 and 2002 respectively.
