Speaking with Screen Rant, producer Shawn Levy stated Deadpool & Wolverine is “not Deadpool 3,” but instead “a different thing that’s very much Deadpool & Wolverine.”
As far as crafting the Deadpool and Wolverine story, I just felt privileged every day because you’re talking about two massive movie stars in their most iconic roles. It also gave me an opportunity. It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool & Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.
Untitled Vampire Project
Production has officially begun on Ryan Coogler’s untitled vampire project starring Michael B. Jordan, Delroy Lindo, Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, and Jack O’Connell.
True Detective
During a recent panel hosted by Deadline, executive producer Issa López would neither confirm nor deny the fifth season of True Detective will connect to Ennis’s story from season one.
It might, or not, be connected to Ennis. We will see.
