In Jan-Feb 2024, US saw a 12.49 per cent rise in textile and apparel imports, reaching 14,147.585 million SME. Apparel imports grew by 1.72 per cent, while textile imports surged by 17.44 per cent.
Conversely, US exports of textiles and apparel declined by 3.04 per cent.
This trend reflects ongoing caution among foreign buyers towards US textile products.
