Early on Sunday morning, two individuals on a motorbike fired shots outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Bandra, Mumbai. The police have since found a motorbike believed to have been used in the incident, parked just over a kilometre from Salman's home.
That evening, Raj Thackeray and Zeeshan Siddique, son of Baba Siddique, were spotted visiting Salman’s home. Earlier in the day, Salman’s brothers, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, also came to offer their support. Arbaaz’s wife, Sshura, and their son, Arhaan, were among the family members who visited.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has been in touch with Salman following the incident, reassuring him that the state would take firm action against such lawlessness.
The police say that around 5 am, the attackers fired four shots outside the Galaxy Apartments and then escaped. In response, the police have increased security around Salman’s home. A team of officers, crime specialists, and forensic experts have been collecting evidence at the scene, including footage from nearby CCTV cameras.
It is not confirmed whether Salman was at home during the attack.
Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has publicly taken responsibility for the attack. In a bold post on Facebook, he claimed the attack was a demonstration of their strength and a warning to Salman, threatening more severe actions if provoked further.
This incident follows a threat made against Salman last March via email, after which the police lodged a formal complaint against Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and another individual for criminal conspiracy and intimidation.
