Toyota launches new top-spec Innova Hycross variant at ₹21 lakh
Toyota has broadened its Innova Hycross petrol lineup with the introduction of a new top-tier variant, the GX (O). The pricing for this latest addition ranges from ₹20.99 lakh to ₹21.13 lakh. This launch aligns with previous speculations about the Innova Hycross petrol receiving a new high-end trim. The GX (O) variant packs new features and enhancements but its powertrain remains consistent with other models.
Hycross GX (O) is loaded with features
The Hycross GX (O) is priced approximately ₹1.2 lakh higher than the GX variant. This price hike is attributed to the addition of several new safety features like a 360-degree camera, front LED fog lights, front parking sensors, and a rear defogger. The interior has been updated with a chestnut theme, soft-touch elements on the doors and dashboard, along with new fabric seat covers. For enhanced comfort, it features automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay.
Variations in features across configurations
Not all features are consistent across all configurations of Hycross GX (O). The eight-seater version lacks the 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a retractable rear sun shade. This results in the seven-seater variant being slightly more expensive at ₹21.13 lakh.
Hycross GX (O) offers seven exterior color options
The Hycross GX (O) provides seven exterior color options for customers to choose from. These include Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Avant Garde Bronze Metallic, and Super White. Under its stylish exterior, the Hycross GX (O) houses the same 174hp/205Nm, 2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, coupled with a CVT automatic gearbox. Toyota claims a fuel-efficiency of 16.13km/l for the Hycross model.
