The ball comes into the box from Mehtab Singh. Substitute Vojtus gets his head on the ball but is unable to steer it towards the goal.

Armando Sadiku goes for the goal from way out of the box. The ball bounces right in front of the opposition keeper and goes just wide of the right post.

Mumbai City is searching for a way to come back into this game. One goal is all it needs to win the Shield.

The game resumes and the players seem fit to play. Noguera wins the ball and plays it to Chhangte who is unable to provide a good cross.

Pereyra Diaz crosses the ball in from the left. Easily gathered by Vishal Kaith. And a break is on for MBSG, but Petratos is unable to make use of the chance. The referee stops play for a head injury that occurred during the play involving Tiri.

Mumbai City FC has started the second half positively. Van Nieff plays the ball through on the left for Bipin Singh. His pass back to the middle of the box is intercepted by the Mohun Bagan Defense. 

Mumbai City FC kicks off the second half, shooting from left to right. No substitutions for either side.

The referee blows the whistle for half-time. A stunning goal from Colaco is the difference at the break. The League Shield is in Mohun Bagan’s hands for now.

Van Nieff goes for a shot from a similar position as before. This time the ball sails over the goal.

Four minutes of added time.

Chhangte receives the ball and breaks away. He passes it to Pereyra Diaz on the right. Diaz takes a touch and gives it back to Chhangte who was free inside the box. The shot however goes wide of the post. What a chance for Mumbai City. 

Rahul Bheke’s failed clearance falls to Petratos in the middle of the pitch. Petratos ambitiously hits it first time to catch the keeper off guard. The ball sails over the goal instead.

Five minutes plus added time to go. Subhasish tries to find Sadiku with a ball over the top. Sadiku’s touch is poor and the ball goes out for a Mumbai throw in.

Manvir Singh goes into the book after trying to win a loose ball. He catches the leg of Apuia instead.

Apuia tries to get something started. He is brought down by Petratos. Freekick near the half line for MCFC. Van Nieff takes a shot from outside the box. Vishal Kaith saw it coming and makes a good save to his right.

Chhangte tries to drive in from the right. He gets away from Subhasish, but Kauko arrives and wrestles the ball away from the winger.

Play resumes after the drinks break and the stadium is buzzing. 

Liston Colaco scores!!! He receives a ball on the left and takes on Bipin Singh inside the box. He cuts to his right and fires his shot into the top right corner. Assisted by Petratos.

Lachenpa takes his own time in taking a goal kick, riling up Antonio Habas on the sidelines.

Tensions rise as the referee shows the card to someone on the Mohun Bagan bench.

Noguera goes down after he was caught on his ankle by Petratos. Freekick for MBSG.

Thapa gets the ball and crosses in a beautiful ball to Liston Colaco who was wide open inside the box. The header hits the left post and the follow up shot from Suryavanshi sails over the bar.

This time Subhasish is penalised for a foul on Chhangte. The referee wastes no time in pulling out the card.

Here comes Chhangte once again. He cuts past Subhasish and goes down after apparently clipping the defender’s legs. He appeals for a freekick but the referee says play on. 

Colaco drives into the box from the right and passes the ball into the penalty area. It is cleared away by the MCFC defence. Chhangte gets on the ball and is brought down by Colaco near the half line. 

Kauko tries to link up with Thapa with a quick one-touch pass. Thapa’s return pass is too quick and Chhangte intercepts and breaks away. He stopped by Subhasish who stands stong.

Mohun Bagan on the ball now. Bose tries to find Colaco on the right side. Mehtab Singh flies in to intercept the pass and clear it away.

Bipin clips in a cross from the left. There is no one inside the box to put it in. The ball deflects off Anwar Ali for a corner. Positive start from Mumbai.

Chance at the other end. Bipin makes a great run after Noguera plays a defence-splitting pass. Bipin is unable to cut to his right fast enough and his shot is blocked by the MBSG defense.

Bose plays a long ball across the field to the right for Manvir. He does well to touch it away from Akash Mishra and drives into the box. He is unable to take a shot and the chance is wasted.

Mohun Bagan kicks off the match, shooting from left to right. We are 90 minutes away from crowning the league winners.

The Islanders have also been lethal in terms of attacking. With 41 goals, they are the second-highest-scoring team behind the Mariners.

Mumbai City recorded a 2-1 win against Mohun Bagan when both teams faced each other last time in this season’s ISL. Greg Stewart and Bipin Singh found the net for the Islanders, while Jason Cummings scored the only goal for the Mariners.

For the Mariners, it is a must-win match. If Mohun Bagan draws, it will reach 46 points, one less than Mumbai’s current tally.

The records hold Mumbai a clear favourite, as Mohun Bagan SG has never been able to beat the former in the eight ISL meetings so far (Mumbai City won six matches while the remaining two ended in draws).
