    What's the story

Google is developing a new tool for Gmail, which aims to simplify email management and improve the user experience. According to PiunikaWeb, the feature is known as "Manage Subscriptions," and it declutters the email space by giving users full control over what they want to see in their inbox. The introduction of this new add-on comes as a response to the challenges users face when dealing with an overflow of emails on their devices.

    Mechanism involved

    How does it work?

The "Manage Subscriptions" feature is expected to appear as a new tab on the Gmail sidebar and will categorize users' subscribed emails based on certain criteria. It will automatically organize email space, helping users identify which emails need immediate attention and spot spammers and promotional emails. The tool may also provide an "unsubscribe" button next to the sender's name and logo, offering users quick action against unwanted emails.

    Information

Release timeline is yet to be revealed

The "Manage Subscriptions" tool is currently under development. The exact timeline for the official release of this new Gmail feature remains uncertain at this point.
