Morikawa drops out of the race for the green jacket with another double-bogey

A double-bogey at nine meant he couldn't afford any more mistakes but like Aberg before him, he found the water at 11.

He goes onto record his second double in the space of half an hour.

Meanwhile, Max Homa is in the deep doo doo on 12, having sent his tee shot into a bush, with no sight or sign of the ball as of yet.

Scottie Scheffler, meanwhile, dropped a shot on eleven but with the competition faltering around him, it's not as damaging as it might have been as he now stands on the 12th tee-box with a three shot lead.

Then there were two...

Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa stand side-by-side at the top of the leaderboard once more, with both men having birdied the par five eight.

Scheffler did so with a nerveless birdie putt from 12 foot, while Morikawa's delightful wedge shot set him up with a chance from five foot, which he duly took.

This is shaping up for a good old fashioned ding-dong down the back nine.

It's a four-way tie for the lead

Max Homa joins the party with a birdie on the eight hole.

It's fair to say that none of the leaders have burned it up so far on the front nine, as the chasing pack continue to jostle for position.
