    What's the story

Suzuki, a key player in India's two-wheeler market, is set to introduce a refreshed version of its popular family scooter, the Access 125. The vehicle, which consistently ranks among India's top ten scooters, has been spotted in recent spy shots indicating an imminent facelift. The updated design will include a sturdier headlight cowl and an extended front apron, giving the two-wheeler a more commanding presence.

    Exterior

    Design elements of Access 125

The new Access 125 will retain certain design elements from its predecessor. A notable addition will be a front storage compartment, equipped with a circular reflector typically seen on the rear mudguard of the current Access 125. Suzuki will also introduce a redesigned rear mudguard as well as a fresh design for the heat shield.

    Features

    Enhanced comfort

The revamped Access 125 will reveal more of its engine, due to slimmer side body panels. The seat appears flatter than the previous model, potentially offering increased comfort for pillion riders. To stay competitive, Suzuki is expected to include advanced features such as hazard lights, a digital instrument cluster, and smartphone connectivity through its proprietary app.

    Changes

Anticipated features of the facelifted model

The practicality of the new Access 125 seems to match its predecessor, featuring a flat floorboard and likely ample under-seat storage. A smart key feature may also be included, similar to what Honda Activa - one of Access 125's main competitors, offers. The scooter was spied for the first time as part of Suzuki's strategy to expand their sales reach.
