Fayetteville police find human remains during the search for two missing people
In the search for two missing people, Blake Deven, 17, and London Deven, 27, Fayetteville police found partial human skeletal remains on Friday.
Investigators have not confirmed if the remains are connected to Blake Deven and London Deven.
Authorities sent the remains to the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for identification.
Fayetteville police said testing could take "weeks or months." Police also said testing does not always result in positive identification.

Documents obtained by WRAL News on Tuesday from the state civil court database, Avantae Emerald Deven adopted both Blake Deven and London Deven years before their respective disappearances.
Both Blake Deven and London Deven went missing between 2019 and 2022. London was last seen in 2019 in Fayetteville.
Fayetteville police have not confirmed how long Blake has been missing, but The Missing Children Database said Blake has been missing since 2022.
Avantae Deven filed a petition for London Devon’s adoption in January 2011, which was approved two months later. Then, In April 2013, another petition was filed for Blake Deven’s adoption and approved.
According to Blake Deven’s biological mother, Felicia Chandler, Blake went into foster care because of abuse allegations, which she denies.
