Why is he so old?

It seems he has a pretty good pedigree in getting 3rd party games to run on consoles. I would imagine he is a key part in the transition to the next Nintendo console.

@mereel Well you see, from the moment we are born we go through this process known as "aging." Every human goes through this process, even me and you. You can think of it as a Metamorphosis from being a weak lump of flesh fresh out of the womb, to a fully grown adult with strong bones and muscles. However, it doesn't stop there. Once we become fully grown adults, the aging process continues still. Bones become brittle, skin develops wrinkles, hair loses its color, and this becomes more apparent as the years go on. Eventually, the body will become so weak from the adverse effects of aging that it will no longer be able to function, and this is what we call "death." Death is as inescapable as aging, and everyone will eventually go through this process as well.

I'll have to wait and see. I'm glad he likes the Vita (cuz Sony absolutely shat on suck a great console), I'm just always gonna be skeptical about someone coming to Nintendo from Sony. I already have my issues with the Localizers on NoA, and seeing what Sony has become in the current generation, the last thing I want is to Nintendo to become like them.

So if anyone doesent know. This man was partially responsible for bringing Yakuza over to the west! So this man has my full respect for that. Probably going to benefit Nintendo alot.

He convinced Sega that Yakuza would do well In the west and he was right. I cant imagine life without Yakuza. Such a legendary game series.

Huge get. This man is responsible for so many amazing third-party releases and deals on PlayStation. I followed him for years and this is only going to be a big thing for Switch 2.

@BlublacMH Well, considering PlayStation is probably Nintendo's biggest rival right now on the console market, it's pretty big news. It's practically unheard of for the executive from one of the major game companies to jump ship to a rival business, as far as I am aware.

It also says to me that Sony might not be in as good of a position as they make themselves out to be (especially considering they are currently over $31 billion in debt, to the point where they don't even crack the Top 300 Richest Companies In Japan, whereas Nintendo is currently #1 in that ranking, with zero debt to their name and over $11 billion in cash and cash equivalents).

Heck, as it is, the PS5 has sold around 50 million units, making it their worst-selling home console so far (only the Vita has sold worse), and they say the console is nearing the end of its life cycle. Compare that to the Switch, which is the third-best-selling console of all time, behind only the DS and the PS2.

I'm not a betting person, but at this rate, we're more likely to see Sony pull out of the console market before Nintendo does. We'll see if they can turn things around with the PS6, but that's contingent on how expensive the base console is, especially compared to Nintendo's successor to the Switch.

My gut says this isn't going to help Nintendo.

Besides his work on the Vita, Corsi is also known for his help in getting Yakuza/Like a Dragon's presence in the west.

Good for him to join NoA I guess, hope he has a good time.

He's here to get that next-gen Virtual Boy project greenlit at last, right? Right???
