It’s fair to say that pretty much any time one of the KarJenners posts to social media, the photo or video immediately faces accusations of photoshop or airbrushing.
In addition to telltale clues of digital manipulation, such as distortions to the photo’s background or mysteriously absent core body parts, the family regularly face claims that their skin is far too smooth to be real, suggesting that online filtering is at play.
In recent months, family matriarch Kris Jenner has been compared to AI and a Sim because of how unnaturally flawless she has looked in Instagram videos — having previously been exposed for using smoothing filters when she shared a photo with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
And the edits have seemingly transcended Instagram, with Kim Kardashian being accused of having filters added to her 2022 appearance on The Tonight Show when viewers noticed blurring alongside inconsistencies in her appearance.

More recently, Khloé Kardashian’s followers were stunned when the star seemingly used an airbrushing filter on a photo of her six-year-old daughter True’s cat, Grey Kitty.
A solo photo of the pedigree Russian Blue was included in Khloé’s Valentine’s Day Instagram carousel. The pet’s eyes looked noticeably brighter and wider than usual in the picture, and its features were also suspiciously smooth.

So, with all this in mind, it is perhaps understandable that fans of the famous family were happily surprised by Kendall Jenner’s appearance in a new series of TikTok videos for Vogue.

The 28-year-old model features in six “Get Ready With Me” clips that were posted to the fashion magazine’s account on Thursday, and followers were seriously impressed by this unfiltered glimpse at the star.

Kendall does not appear to be using any filters in the close-up shots, which expose her freckles, texture and redness to her skin, as well as natural creasing to her under eyes and forehead.

Viewers also noted her flyaway hair as they praised the star for this “refreshing” insight into a celebrity’s real appearance.

Commenting on one of the videos, somebody wrote: “Wait, I love her for this. I’m living for the flyaways, grey hair and natural skin.” Another echoed: “She is beautiful. This is real skin.”
