Eagle police respond to call of deceased male in courthouse parking lot

Just after 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Eagle Police Department officers responded to a call of a deceased male in the parking lot of the Eagle County Justice Center located at 885 Chambers Ave.

Officers discovered a deceased male upon arrival. A press release from the Eagle Police Department states there is no threat to the public and no other individuals were harmed. An investigation is underway and further information is currently unavailable.

The Eagle County Coroner’s Office will be responsible for identifying the victim as well as determining the cause and manner of death.
