Harry Kane marked his return to north London with a significant goal in Bayern Munich's 2-2 draw at Arsenal.

The former Tottenham hero put his current side 2-1 up with a first-half penalty in an entertaining Champions League quarter-final, and in doing so broke a record which will leave Gunners fans fuming.

Kane's strike was his sixth goal scored at the Emirates Stadium, meaning that he is now the most prolific opposition goalscorer at Arsenal's home ground since it opened 2006.

The England captain's spot-kick effort saw him move clear of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy and Liverpool's Diogo Jota, who each boast five goals at the stadium.

The 30-year-old has also scored against Arsenal more than any other player in Premier League history, having found the net against them on 14 occasions before leaving Spurs for Germany in 2023.

Some Gunners supporters even stuck around after full-time to let Kane know what they thought of him during a post-match interview, while the Bayern striker joked they have a 'soft respect' for him.
