Tata Power shares gain 1.41% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Tata Power Company Ltd. traded at Rs 422.2 on BSE at 11:01AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 1.41 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 193.05 and a high of Rs 433.2.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 37.3 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 11.2 per share and 2.11 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 1,124,744 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:01AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 133485.31 crore and is part of the Power - Integrated industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 116.35 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 25.44 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 424.9 and Rs 416.6.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 46.86 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in Tata Power Company Ltd. stood at 9.86 per cent and 5.42 per cent, respectively.
