Like Kohli, his average against pacers also goes past 30 (37.98). Dhawan has been dismissed 118 times by pacers, while the tally includes 1,369 dot balls.
David Warner: 4,170 runs
David Warner is another opener who fares well against pace in the cash-rich league. Warner's strike rate is on the higher side (139.65), while he has racked up 4,170 runs in this regard. The left-handed batter averages 38.25 against pacers. Warner has been dismissed on 109 occasions by seamers in the IPL. His tally also has 129 sixes.
Rohit Sharma: 4,128 runs
Dhawan's long-time opening partner Rohit Sharma occupies the fourth spot on this list. The latter makes the most of the Powerplay, smashing the pacers at will. Dhoni has the highest strike rate against pacers (152.40) among these five players. The former Chennai Super Kings skipper has racked 3,522 runs off 2,311 balls against pacers in the cash-rich league. He has struck 164 sixes and 281 fours in this regard.
