SHOOTING: A suspect has been charged with capital murder and attempted capital murder.

A North Little Rock man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a woman and the injuring of three others on Curtis Sykes Drive late last week.

James Booker, 46, has been charged with capital murder and three counts of attempted capital murder after North Little Rock police found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds on Friday at about 5:52 p.m., according to a report from the department.

Santana Lash ReynaMartinez, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene while the other victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. One victim has been released and the other two were listed in stable condition, the department said. 

Early Friday evening, officers responded to a shooting on the 100 block of Curtis Sykes Drive. Witnesses described the suspect to the police, and an officer tracked him to an abandoned house on the 1300 block of Magnolia Street. Booker was taken into custody without incident.

Detectives have determined that Booker was the only shooter and that all of the parties involved knew one another. He was transferred to the Pulaski County jail where he was being held without bond pending an appearance in North Little Rock District Court.
