Mohamed Salah may not be a world-class player, but he is definitely one hell of a goalscorer.

That is the verdict from former Liverpool midfielder Paul Ince, who played for the Reds from 1995 to 1997.

Salah, considered one of the greatest to have ever played for the club, was being discussed on talkSPORT Drive following the news that the Saudi Pro League would once again try and lure him to the Middle East.

It comes a year after Liverpool rejected a £150m offer for him, with the moneybags league thought to be readying a similar offer for a player who will soon have 12 months to run on his contract.

"I think his record speaks for itself," Ince said when asked about whether Salah can be considered world class. He continued: "Is he a world-class player? Technically, I wouldn't say so.

"I think sometimes when he cuts in on his left foot, putting balls into the box, they are not great.
