Man arrested in fatal Durham shooting from September

A man was arrested in a fatal shooting that occurred on Labor Day weekend.
Kenneth Heath was arrested by Durham police and the US Marshal Task Force on Golden Crest Drive Friday on warrants for first-degree murder.
Heath is linked to a shooting that occurred on Sept. 2, 2023. Around 1:32 a.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of Mallard Avenue and Neville Street and found a man with gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Heath, 24, is being held without bond at the Durham County Jail.
