Arsenal v Bayern Munich preview

Arsenal head into the first leg of their Champions League quarter final on Tuesday night having won six of their last seven games, their most recent of which, a 3-0 win at Brighton, took them top of the Premier League table with just seven matches left to play.

The Gunners are taking part in their first Champions League quarter final tie in 14 years, but head into their tie with the German champions as favourites due to the north London side enjoying a fantastic campaign.

Mikel Arteta's side reached the last eight of this season's premier European club competition by beating PSV, Lens and Sevilla to top spot in Group B, before beating Porto on penalties in their last 16 tie.
