Gabby Agbonlahor believes Liverpool's slip-up at Old Trafford could pave the way for Man City to win the Premier league title.

This came after Bruno Fernandes' stunning long-range effort and Kobbie Mainoo giving Erik ten Hag's side the lead after Luis Diaz's early effort.

That result saw the Reds miss the chance to retain top spot in the Premier League table, instead allowing Arsenal to leapfrog them on goal difference.

This was due to the Gunners' 3-0 victory over Brighton on Saturday. However, as it stands Arsenal and Liverpool are tied on 71 points, while Manchester City are breathing down their necks on 70 points.

Confidence is high within Pep Guardiola's side and Agbonlahor believes they may now have the best chance of winning the title thanks to their run-in.
