Pune DCCB achieves business of Rs 23000cr; thanks Pawar

Pune District Central Cooperative Bank achieved a business mix of more than Rs 23,000 crore with ‘Zero’ percent net NPA in the 2023-24FY.

After reviewing the financial figures, Pune DCCB Chairman Digambar Durgade said, “The bank’s financial position as on 31st March 2024 improved up to the mark and performed well on all the financial parameters. Our overall business grew in comparison to previous year”.

“The deposits of the bank increased from Rs 11,481 crore (2022-23) to Rs 12,967 crore as on 31st March 2024. The business of the bank grew from Rs 19,454 crore to Rs 23,753 crore in the 2023-24 FY”, he said.

He further added, the bank has a network of 294 branches and we have made efforts to bring all the branches in profit. This year also, the net NPA remained ‘Zero’ and gross NPA levels decreased from 4.51 percent to 2 percent.

Durgade thanked Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Cooperation Minister Dilip Walse Patil, board of directors, shareholders, employees and others for their unwavering support in taking the bank to newer heights.

The bank has created a strong network of cooperatives in the Pune district with dedicated efforts for the development of agriculture and allied activities; so as to bring about an improvement in the life of agriculturists.
