Elias Brendel had two hits, one run, and two RBI as Brookline topped Framingham, 5-4, in Bay State Conference play. … Charlie Carpenter had two hits and two RBI as Wellesley defeated Natick, 11-6.

Coley Schaefer struck out seven in six innings, while Griffin Schutte drove in a pair of runs as Rivers defeated Roxbury Latin 5-2 in the Independent School League. … Christian Oliveira hit a three-run homer and went four innings to get the win as Governor’s Academy defeated Tabor, 10-3. … John Hegarty and Liam Childs combined on a six-hitter as St. Mark’s beat Thayer Academy. 5-2.

Abby Hanna had a pair of hits as Hanover (1-0) defeated Notre Dame (Hingham) 6-1 in a nonleague game. … Alex Fiona drove in four runs and scored two more as Old Rochester bested Wareham, 13-6.

BOYS LACROSSE

Emilio Tanzi had five goals and an assist, while Joe Ladosci tacked on four goals as Weston (1-0) defeated Littleton 14-3 in a nonleague contest. … Nikos Triantafillou had five goals while Jayson Kelleher and Braeden Silva added two apiece as Bridgewater-Raynham (3-0) took down Apponequet 14-9.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Charlize Collins scored three times as Burlington defeated Bedford 10-8 in a nonleague contest. … Kierstyn Zinter netted four goals while Livy Rondeau and Kerri Finneran each had hat tricks as Central Catholic (2-0) rolled to an 18-3 win over Masconomet. … Libby Schiffmann collected three goals and two assists as Cohasset took down Needham 18-4.
