After getting bail in the delhi Excise Policy case, aam aadmi party leader and rajya sabha mp sanjay singh has narrated the ordeal of his days spent in jail. sanjay singh said that the first 11 days were very difficult in the small cell of the jail; he was not allowed to go out. sanjay singh said on saturday (April 6) that during his six-month stays in tihar jail, he acted with determination and courage.

Aam Aadmi party (AAP) mp sanjay singh, during his stay in jail, also asked his family members not to shed tears. rajya sabha member sanjay singh was granted bail by the supreme court on tuesday (April 2) in the money laundering case related to delhi Excise Policy. After being imprisoned in tihar jail for about 6 months, he came out of tihar jail on wednesday (April 3).

Aam Aadmi party leader and rajya sabha mp sanjay singh recalled his days spent in Tihar. sanjay singh said, "The first 11 days were very difficult in the small room, we were not allowed to go out." I was under police protection. After this, I spoke to the jail administration and demanded that I be given rights as a common prisoner. After this, he was allowed to go out of the cell for a certain time under police protection.

AAP leader sanjay singh further said, "They decided to allow me to go to the music room, badminton court for a certain time. Even issues related to food were given attention. I did not have a mobile phone, so I utilized my time in jail in reading books. I read books by Nelson Mandela, mahatma gandhi, Dr. (Ram Manohar) Lohia, Bhagat Singh in those six months. I read more in six months than I had been able to read in six years.
