Deputies: Wife of Texas judge charged with murdering nephew after fight

The wife of a Texas judge was arrested and accused of murdering her nephew in Texas.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received around 9:30 p.m. on Friday. Deputies received a call regarding a fight between 48-year-old Mei Wolfe and her nephew-in-law, who recently graduated from college.

The sheriff’s office said the judge, Bob Wolfe, called 911 after his wife allegedly shot the nephew.

Deputies charged Mei Wolfe with the nephew’s murder.

It is unclear why Mei Wolfe shot her nephew-in-law, who was staying at the couple’s home after traveling for a few months.

“May have been a situation where the female homeowner felt that he wasn’t welcome anymore, and a disturbance broke out over that,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

Deputies said an ongoing feud was ongoing between Mei Wolfe and the nephew.
