Saturday’s gray and rainy skies couldn’t lower the spirits of the members of four high school teams who turned Boston into a city of champions.

Confetti, banners and cheers erupted down Boston’s Tremont Street Saturday afternoon in celebration of New Mission High School boys’ basketball, Charlestown High School boys’ basketball, Cathedral High School girls’ basketball and Boston Latin High School boys’ hockey teams, which each took home winter state championships in their respective divisions earlier this year.

The parade celebrating these phenomenal student athletes set out from the Park Street MBTA station at Boston Common at 2 p.m. and ended with a rally at City Hall Plaza.
