Election officials have made an important announcement as the elections are approaching. hyderabad Parliament Constituency Returning Officer and collector Anudeep Durishetti advised the employees to apply for postal Ballot by april 15. A meeting on the postal ballot was held with the HODs of Essential services (AVES) at Panwar Hall in the ghmc office.

Speaking on the occasion, the collector said that the airport Authority of india, Food Corporation of india, indian Railways, press Information Bureau, Doordarshan, All india Radio, electricity Department, Health, Family Welfare Department, State Transport Corporation, Food, Civil Supplies Department, SNL, fire service Employees, Poll Day Coverage He said that media persons authorized by ECI have been given the facility to exercise their right to vote through postal ballot. Employees should fill out Form-12D and apply through the concerned nodal officers and submit it by april 15.

Collector Anudeep Durishetti said that the leaders of political parties should cooperate to ensure that the parliamentary elections are conducted peacefully. He spoke at a meeting held with representatives of various political parties and AROs at the Collectorate meeting hall on Thursday. He said that from april 18 to 25 in his chamber in the Collectorate, the nominations for the lok sabha constituency of hyderabad will be accepted. Violation of the election code of conduct is likely to take action under the Representation of the people Act, 1951.
