Have you checked Amstrad brand, heard it is by ex-employees of Llyod a/c team who started it after Lloyds a/c divn got acquired by Havells.

Have heard good things about Panasonic ACs. This one is available under 50k with some bank offers.

Saw this brand at lotus electronics showroom last year but ignored bcoz of no service center in my area. Check before buying.

Envisaged usage will be few hours a day. Let's say max 6 hr

With this much usage, my recommendation will be non Inverter ac, as sooner or later inverter ac will suffer pcb failure and that's the costliest component in ac.

1.5 is enough for 200 sqft. Am using 1.5 in same size room.
