Slifer Smith and Frampton’s fourth annual Skivenger Hunt set for Saturday, April, 6, will raise funds for The Community Market, which is committed to addressing food insecurity in Eagle County.

“We are immensely grateful to Slifer Smith & Frampton for their steadfast support of our mission to combat food insecurity in Eagle County,” said Melina Valsecia, the executive director of the Eagle Valley Community Foundation, which runs The Community Market, in a news release. “Their dedication to our mission and our neighbors in need empowers us to expand our reach and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families in our community.”

The Community Market helps make sure that no family in the community has to choose between paying bills or putting food on the table.

In the Eagle River Valley, more than 8,700 residents deal with food insecurity. The Community Market provides access to free, nutrient-rich food throughout the county with markets featuring a variety of fresh produce, meat, dairy and bread as well as shelf-stable grocery items, all available for each customer’s choosing.

The Slifer Smith and Frampton Foundation was established in 2015 with a focus on supporting local community organizations. Your registration for Saturday’s Skivenger Hunt grants you access to a competitive, on-mountain scavenger hunt with your colleagues, friends, family, all in the name of raising money. Teams are encouraged to dress up, and prizes await the teams with the highest scores, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
