Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 92.18 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 26.68 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 8.73 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 8.46 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 8.11 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 6.11 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 5.78 crore), Infibeam Avenues(numbers of share traded: 5.65 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 5.42 crore) and Zomato(numbers of share traded: 5.28 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 80.0 points up at 22514.65, while BSE Sensex ended up 350.81 points at 74227.63.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.31 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.18 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
